RACK STIFFEN'ER (#RPL-STFNR) GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Use the STIFFEN'ER to add strength and cable management to single space CONNECTRIX rack panels that require excessive push/pull of connectors.
After cutting (10) D-series connector positions into a narrow, single space rack panel, more than 50% of the original aluminum is cut away. Once connectors are installed, the RPL-110 regains its strength, but if your application requires more than standard usage… use the STIFFEN'ER to add strength and manage your cables, too.

Stock "CONNECTRIX" CONNECTORS utilize Neutrik® “D” mounting hole pattern for greater flexibility.
Stock “CONNECTRIX” System Connectors may be used in any stock “CONNECTRIX” System Panel(s). Utilizing the popular mounting pattern of Neutrik® “D” Series connectors with a generous rectangular cutout produces a growing array of adapter-mounted “CONNECTRIX” connectors. The adapter mount is plastic and provides ground isolation between the panel and connector. The current selection of stock “CONNECTRIX” system connectors is constantly changing, so please check out our current product information.
When ordering, please specify the connector model number and type of connector, as well as the position you would like them installed into. When installing connectors into RPL-110 rack panels with the RPL-STFNR, machine screws and locking nuts will be used.
*NOTE: Specific High Density and Sub-D connectors may require either 2 or 3 CONNECTRIX spaces, depending on connectors selected.

STOCK “CONNECTRIX” SYSTEM ALUMINUM RACK PANELS (#RPL-100, #RPL-200, AND #RPL-300 SERIES) MEAN CONNECTIVITY USING NEUTRIK® “D” MOUNTING HOLE PATTERNS
The “CONNECTRIX” Rack Panel System expands connectivity possibilities utilizing a panel cutout detail and an array of standard and new isolated connectors. This system provides more connectors and mounting options in stock ACE panels. The benefit is fast order turn around and lower cost than a custom punched panel. The look of custom fabricated panels with off-the-shelf stock prices and immediate delivery. The “CONNECTRIX” System Rack Panels (#RPL-100, #RPL-200, and #RPL-300 Series) are flat and strong. The Panels are made from high strength aluminum alloy (6061-T6) that is .125” thick (1/8”).
Because they are CNC rotary machined and not punched they stay flat and undistorted unlike punched panels which distort in the punching process. The “CONNECTRIX” System Rack Panels are easily engraved. These panels are stocked in standard EIA 1, 2, and 3 space 19” rack panels. Each standard panel is finished with electro-static applied, oven cured black semi-gloss powder coat.
Engraving ACE Rack Panels is fast and easily accomplished on a separate dedicated CNC engraving machine. The finished panels show bright aluminum in the engraved characters and need not be back filled. The machined “CONNECTRIX” cutouts combine the popular mounting pattern of the Neutrik® “D” and Switchcraft® “E” series connectors with a generous rectangular cutout that mates with a growing array of adapter-mounted “CONNECTRIX” connectors.
Using the “CONNECTRIX” System Rack Panel it is possible to mount various combinations of “CONNECTRIX” Connectors without a single custom punch. By implementing the #C-15100, #C-25100, or #C-26100 Series of connectors (See Pages 12-14), ACE can create a custom Rack Panel that will work in most any installation application. Connectors are loaded into panels using black, aluminum pop rivets. You may also choose to have your connectors loaded with removable machine screws and locking nuts, when installing connectors into RPL-110 rack panels with the RPL-STFNR, machine screws and locking nuts will be used. (ACE “CONNECTRIX” System Rack Panels will mount in Standard Space EIA Rack Mounts.)
